Did you know that you can learn more about Healthy Eating for FREE on a popular learning platform called Salesforce?
You will not only learn some practical information, tips and tricks to transform your life with healthy eating… you will earn a badge! Win…win!
My husband is a learning consultant and he is the founder of Upskill Create, a blog and community with thousands of “Upskillers” from over 80 countries around the world who are dedicated to a lifestyle of continuous learning. This learning is not only for career development but also for personal development.
He has inspired me over the years with his passion for learning. His motto for his personal life, his blog, and his community
LEARN. CREATE. SHARE. REPEAT!
I have adopted this motto for myself too as I have realized from my husband’s example that a lifestyle of continuous learning has so many therapeutic benefits beyond even the practical benefits of updating your skills and improving your career and personal life.
The Upskill Create Community of “Upskillers” are passionate about earning badges and I can see why. In the professional world, badges offer some digital proof and recognition of training received. But beyond that, it feels good to accomplish something and receive some sort of visual proof that can be shared on Social Media. It is a form of gamification and who doesn’t love the challenge of a game?
Well, my husband is always looking for new learning opportunities to share with his community and recently he has been promoting some badging opportunities and challenges through the Salesforce platform. Since he knows I am passionate about healthy living and we have recently been delving into learning how to eat a more plant-based diet, he let me know about some FREE training available on Salesforce and he challenged me to take it. He even asked me to record myself reading it so he could experiment with creating some videos to promote these training opportunities.
Here is a copy of the video to get a feel of one of the healthy eating modules.
Anyone can take this course for FREE from Salesforce.
Here is a picture of my dashboard.
And here is a picture of the badges you can earn under the “Enhance Employee Wellbeing with Camp Pono” Trail
So you can see where I completed the Healthy Eating with Salesforce’s Executive Chef and I earned this badge:
This takes an estimated 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete and it includes:
- Learn the Power of Plants (10 minutes)
- Make the Switch (25 minutes)
- Visit the Camp Pono Kitchen (25 minutes)
- Make These Healthy Habits Stick (10 minutes)
My favorite part was the demonstration videos with chef Bill Corbett, Salesforce Executive Chef and the downloadable recipe cards to go with all the meals that were demonstrated. I learned
It didn’t take me long to go through the module and to earn this badge. I walked away with lots of new ideas and inspiration to apply as we continually are looking to improve our health and diet.
Honestly, I’d rather spend an hour learning something new than watching mindless television shows.
I plan to continue going through the other modules on this trail and earn the other badges.
I encourage you to take advantage of this FREE course and learn some new ways to eat

You know, one of the statements in the module titled The Power of Plants really stuck out to me where they ask “Did you know you can eat three meals a day and still be malnourished?” I have heard it said that we are the most overfed and undernourished country in the world. We have such an abundance of everything yet eating the Standard American Diet, we are undernourished. That is why we are seeing more and more physical and mental health problems become an issue at younger and younger ages.
It has been said that this generation of children growing up will not outlive their parents if they keep eating the way they do. That is so sad.
It is more important
I hope this post has given you some ideas and inspiration for making these changes a priority in your life.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or any ideas about how you continually learn how to improve your life with healthy food.
