If you are looking for some new ideas for holiday entertaining this year, these spiced up recipes featuring My Symphony Seasonings are sure to please.

I recently had the pleasure of getting to know Rhonda, the creator, and owner of My Symphony Seasonings and we decided to collaborate together on a few posts sharing different recipes and ideas for holiday entertaining and gift-giving featuring some of our favorite things.

Rhonda brings together only the best, organic seasonings into “a harmonious blend of herbs & spices” to add “elegance and refinement in your kitchen as you entertain the loved ones in your life.”

Spiced Up Holiday Entertaining Ideas

Carrot Cake Cheeseball

Carrot Cake Cheese Ball

Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese
2 Tbsps finely shredded/chopped carrots
2 tsp My Symphony Seasonings’ Sweet Harvest
2 Tbsps maple syrup
Chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature. Finely shred or chop carrots. Mix together cream cheese, carrots, syrup & Sweet Harvest. Chop pecans and coat cheese ball with chopped pecans. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Tips & Tricks:
  • Mix grated carrots with all ingredients THEN using your preferred blending method (immersion blender, processor, blender etc.) blend everything together. This will yield finely shredded carrots while whipping the cream cheese.
  • Place chopped nuts on plastic cling wrap then add the cream cheese mixture on top. Pull up the four corners of the plastic wrap to easily coat the cheese ball with nuts and to easily shape the cheese ball. Store in the refrigerator this way until ready to serve.
  • Serve with crudités like apple or pear slices, celery sticks and sweets like graham crackers or Biscoff cookies.

Here are a few more tips from Rhonda:
  • When you are serving something like a cheese ball no one wants to be the first to cut into it so always cut into it ahead of time and even spread a little like the picture shows.
  • Use any nut or seed butter, creamy or crunchy just make sure it’s healthy! Literally, the only thing under the ingredient label in this sample is almonds! It’s crunchy almond butter, sugar-free, salt-free only almonds.
  • The best time-saving tip for hosting everything from a simple family dinner to a more formal affair…let your guests help themselves! Not only does this make them feel more at home, but it frees up your time as well and the easiest way to allow your guests to help themselves, is to set up a beverage station. So set out your glasses, stirrers, napkins, your cork/bottle cap removing mechanisms and ingredients for beverages.

Sweet Harvest Truffles

Sweet Harvest Truffles

Ingredients:
1/3 cup organic Old Fashioned Oats
3 Tablespoons nut butter
2 teaspoons Sweet Harvest plus more for coating

Directions:
Roughly chop the oats a little bit in a processor or blender.
Simply mix the 3 ingredients together, roll into balls and coat with a layer of Sweet Harvest!
Tip: Coat hands with a little coconut oil to roll with ease.
This recipe makes 8 truffles but can easily be doubled or tripled to make more.
Enjoy!

Now for a couple of spiced up drink recipes for your menu:

Sweet Harvest Sangria

Autumn Spice Sangria

Ingredients:
3 Cups water
6 teaspoons  My Symphony Seasonings’ Autumn Spice Tea
Sweetener for tea
1 bottle/750 mL Red Wine Blend

Directions:
Pour 3 cups boiling water over 6 teaspoons Autumn Spice Tea. Steep for 5-7 minutes, strain and sweeten as desired. In a glass pitcher, mix with equal amounts of a Red Wine Blend-1 bottle. Garnish with orange slices and enjoy!

Harvest Sangria
Ingredients:
Pear cider or juice
Sparkling wine
Sweet Harvest
Maple syrup

Directions:
First, prepare your stemware by dipping the rim in maple syrup and then twirl it in a shallow dish with a few teaspoons of My Symphony Seasonings’ Sweet Harvest. Next mix equal parts cider and wine. Garnish with a pear slice and enjoy!

This next spiced up beverage combines Rhonda’s Sweet Harvest with Orange Essential Oil.

It is my new favorite fall latte and daily afternoon treat.

Sweet Harvest Orange Latte

Sweet Orange Harvest Latte

Sprinkle Sweet Harvest on the bottom of your cup
Add 1 Drop of Orange Essential Oil
Add 1-2 shots of Espresso
Stir
Top off with frothed milk
Sprinkle with Sweet Harvest
Enjoy!

I use a Nespresso Inissia Original Espresso Machine with Nespresso OriginalLine: Roma Espresso Pods and a Nespresso Aeroccino Milk Frother.

You can find this and a Lavished Sugar Lavender Latte recipe on the post Rhonda did for My Symphony Seasonings blog called You Deserve a Latte!

I hope you enjoyed all of these fun ideas to spice up your holiday entertaining.

Wishing you a joyous holiday season!
